FlintSMP
Public survival server

A sharper kind of SMP.

A public Minecraft survival server built for long games rather than short ones. Open to join, on both editions, with nothing for sale that affects how you play.

Live status

One ping to the server, about once a minute while this page is open and again when you come back to the tab. The line under the box says how old the reading is. If it says the server is down, the server is down.

Checking the server…

What it is

Survival, kept close to vanilla. The world is persistent and is not reset on a schedule, which is the whole point: a base is worth building because it will still be there.

PvP is on. Voice chat is available. Java and Bedrock players share one world, so the edition your friends bought does not decide who you can play with.

Versions

Java clients from 1.7.2 up work, including ones newer than the server, so you are not waiting on us to update before you can play. Bedrock works too, and does not need a Java account.

The server's own version decides what is in the world, so an old client does not give you an old world, just an old client looking at the current one. The further from that version you are, the rougher the translation. 1.16 and up is solid; 1.7 and 1.8 connect but come with quirks.

Nothing is for sale that affects play

No ranks that hit harder, no kits, no crates, no queue priority. The competitive part of the server stays competitive, and what you have is what you went and got.

No application

There is no form, no whitelist request and no waiting to be approved. The address is on sheet 02 and it works right now.
